What Is a kid at art
for the heart?

A Kid at Art For the Heart™ is a 501c (3) non-profit organization offering underserved and disadvantaged preschool children innovative, community-responsive art education.

Our inspiration-on-the-move programming is delivered to the doorsteps of schools and organizations throughout Geauga and Lake Counties in a fun and colorful, fully-equipped mobile classroom, as well through our new virtual program which allows us to reach an even greater scope of children.

In collaboration with each sponsoring organization, A Kid at Art For the Heart™ and the Color Me with Confidences™ Series, we custom design innovative multimedia, social emotional learning solutions to meet specific community needs.

We offer formats ranging from a single creative exploration field trip, a full 30-week arts-enrichment curriculum, an eight series Color Me with Confidence program or anything in-between.

Color Me with Confidence

The Color Me with Confidence© curriculum was designed to foster a love for the arts through exploration, in addition to being used as an outlet for expressing feelings.

Color Me with Confidence© is an eight week program that works in conjunction with A Kid at Art for the Heart ™ and the ARTIE the Art Bus© book series. ARTIE the Art Bus© is based on the color wheel and introduces the primary colors as well as the secondary colors, along with pairing emotions and feelings with each of the colors.
